- Remembering -
Remember the life that went by unseen? Of normal mornings with normal routines. I laugh at the memories that have flown by, Now I look at myself and don't hear my sigh. Is it all wasted? When we shut out existence? Sometimes I feel like I'm masquerading resistance. I don't have the answers nor half of the question. Just take in all theories and those of suggestion. Will all the shadows fade like the setting of the Sun? I'm getting tired of making compromises to everyone. The confusion and thoughts come down to the mind. Life is like a video… Read Full Story »
- This and That -
Like that whimsical moment in captivity Or turning your back on eternity Like the empty space between predator and prey Or finding no difference between night and day One on one we count the minutes from the womb While I hear each shallow breath you leave in this room I bow my head and whisper a song that you can not hear You do this too whenever I am near When I run, it is into a storm, a sigh But no one is listening to the heavens lullaby A sad sweet song to ever touch these lips of mine… Read Full Story »
- The Bath Lullaby -
Free fall down the big blue wave of wonderment Compact in midair with wings of an eagle. Riding the tide of the early evening, yet morning will come. Morning always comes. Hiding in the shadows of the ocher bath curtain I laugh loudly Because you are funny My darling, oh sweet one You are going to be just fine. Shhhh. Morning will come soon enough Read Full Story »

- Memoirs of the Milky Way -
And February came so coldAnd in this war I too was soldNow I am alone, a burning candleI graffiti-ed the moon to create a scandalI burned a bridge, they burned my homeSentenced to the world to roamCenturies of broken heartsJust in seconds ripped apartNeither dusk nor dawn shall hid my shameOr push me out of the midnight painThe Milky Way witnesses our criesOf laughter, of birds, our dreams, our sighsOf Venetian shadows under the starsI will not fall, I will go farThen each ship, un-hailed, sailed aloneTo imprudent destinations unknown. - Bombay -
Encased in words That is who you are Wearing that cloak of unfinished sentences It's quarter to one and you shiver Drinking Bombay alone in a closet Underneath all your broken board games I close my eyes so I can't see you Beating your palms against a dirty wall Scratching phrases on its surface Like memories so you can't forget You are full of words but ask no questions Tasting blood because you bit your fist Ten seconds ago As you stuffed it into your mouth to stop from screaming My name Again and again, a muffled cry I turn… Read Full Story »
- Her Face -
It's in her face She told a joke and then you laughed and then you laughed. She played her ace Her cards lay flat She did not care, She did not care. You are out of place in this town, On the road, down the road. This is not a race you did not win you just let go, we all let go. You loved her face. You loved her face. It's in her face.
