you are so bloody inspiring

Uncertainty in every breath, every waking thought.
Nightly battles I’ve frequently fought
Wage in the dark catacombs of my mind.
I’ve searched fruitlessly for what I can’t find:
The answers to questions that I once knew.
What it comes down to, is do I love you?

Once I certain, once I was sure.
I had a disease with only one cure.
You invaded my head and conquered my heart.
But of me, you wanted and wished no part.
There was a time when you were my saviour,
There was a time when I understood your behaviour.

I’ve lost myself in the thickets of you,
Your every action led me into
This twisted wood and trapped me there.
The oppressing dark’s too much to bare,
Too deep for me to ever break.
Show me the way, for heaven’s sake.
