How is it true that such hardworking hands
can also touch tender skin so gently?
How is it true that such a harsh voice making demands
can also make three well known words sound soft as the sea?
“I love you”
And how is it true that those words can be used for not only one meaning?
How is it true that they can not only create happiness but also hurt?
How is it true that love has more than one definition? More than two or three
how is it true that we can use it so free?
but for what it’s worth I still love you.
