between the two of rights and wrongs
columns of mis-truths, mistrusts and misunderstanding
but still, the point is always missed
in lovers’ feeble attempts at explanation
explaining away the love they harbor, even for liars
while liars live the cynical and jaded romance
of treacherous tragedy, for neither lovers nor liars
ever survive the tragedies of Shakespeare and Pixar
