Lemony fragrances by the water
as we walk through the
Kokanee Canyon
from the view point
there was a site
of water rushing with all of its might.

With looks of a braid
as the water flies
with hope of a great big surprise.
As we walk through the
Kokanee Canyon.

A rocky path beneath our feet
we stumble and we fall
as we go home to eat we pick up speed.

A moon silver pool,
of freezing cold water,
we touched it and cried “oh it’s cold water”
As we walk through the
Kokanee Canyon.

Now that we’re home,
I can’t believe it’s all done
but someday soon,
we’ll be walking on a trail,
with rocks beneath our feet,
that we’ve just begun.
