Lily loves - by Amber Rae Muir

The feel is electric, almost like death can be desired.

This moment of pretend, like roll play in her mind.
Counting every moment, each closer to done.

She moves like they are lovers, passion for fun.

What Zuckerberg Would Rather You Didn't Know - by Russell Smith

Recently, I made a difficult choice in my life. I might even call it a milestone though I haven’t decided yet. I deleted my Facebook account. Shocking, preposterous? Have I gone mad? Quite possibly, and for a variety of reasons, but deleting my Facebook account is not among one of them. It is indeed rather one of the more rational and sane decisions I have made in my life. It hasn’t been long now since I made that fateful choice, and the long term ramifications remain to be fully seen. I already have found myself on the outside circuit, shunned…

Grey Days - by Russell Smith

Grey Days Pain. The only thing I know. The only thing that keeps me feeling like I’m still alive. Every day is a constant battle that I face. The walls are closing in quickly, all hope seems to fade. The candle burnt out mean-ing-less, this life this test. This test, all of us, we all must face it. We all must embrace the challenge. Latching onto pain, because it, feels like some thing. I, am so cold. I know not where I am, or what I am doing here, in this hell, or how it got to be this way.…

Kaleidoscope Hearts - by Cypress Hunder

Shards of glass,
Gouging themselves inwards,
Wedging between pores,
Following a river of blood,
Riding to my heart.
Kaleidoscope vision;
Shapes turn,
Twist,
Bounce,
Grow.
Body contorting,
Bones snapping.
Silent screams,
Pushing past my split lips.
Warm dark liquid drips,
Stream after stream,
Flowing from my eyes,
Blinding me.
The taste of metallic,
Choking,
Gurgling from my orifices.
Breath short,
Panicked.
Fingers grasp nothingness,
Closing themselves on empty air,
Clenching to fists.
Fists that have now fallen.
Breaths that have now stopped.
Blood that is now dry.
Vision now dark.
Heart done beating.

The Splendor of Music - by Cypress Hunder

Music notes float. Skimming above her beautiful face. A face that fades in and out of focus. Music radiates from her smile. They black, when she is white, pale, from endless days out of the sun. Her hair flows. Brown tassels that whisper in the wind. She gazes not realizing her beauty. Not realizing her watcher. He, like her, appreciates the smooth notes, the graceful sound of music. Her whispers entrance him. Her lips barely moving to produce such a sound. They float like the leaves. Floating on ribbons of light. She is small and fragile, a closed lotus blossom.…

Pouring Souls Like Whiskey - by Cypress Hunder

He pours his soul like whiskey, His mind gone, Floats with the clouds. Clouds that darken, Shoots lightening from their depths. Fires catch, forests burn, Blackened, charcoaled. Zeus strikes down upon them, Rage destroys. Horror lives. Selfishness brought him to this, Has it not? We shall all burn. I, myself dying in agony, crumpling into the ground, Dark soil consumes me. My black tears leave imprints in the earth, Momentarily they sit, then disappear, like me. How did this happen, Grotesque human race, Wearing the pretty face of a girl. Blonde hair, green eyes, Deep inside the brutality is seen.…

Fluorescent Adolescence - by Cypress Hunder

Under the sheets,
Your red lips,
Starry eyed,
Explode like a mouthful of diamonds.
The electric feel,
Sweet deposition,
Satisfy my soul.
Happiness, found.
Head above clouds.
You are my space oddity,
Spinning like spectrums of the wind,
Drifting as a fragile bird.
Shining like reflections,
When the sun is up.
Memory pools,
In my sleepy head,
Liztomania.
Kickstart thrills,
Into a velvet goldmine.
You turn me on to the idea of growing old,
Don’t ever turn the tables.
I like you so much better when you’re naked,
My foxy lady.

Heart of You - by Cypress Hunder

A great and terrible beauty,
Casting fire,
Melting stones.
Her name permanently within,
My inkheart,
Giving me shadowed kisses.
I find myself a graceling,
Fighting with rebel angels.
She is the foundling, Mimus,
She is the sweetness at the bottom of the pie.

Never Would Have Ever - by Jaemae Evelyn Prochner

There’s a picture of you on graduation,
lookin’ so happy with that goofy smile.
Your soul shinin’ through those beautiful eyes,
Thinkin’ of you while lookin’ up at the bright winter sky.
Tears fallin’ and it’s gettin’ harder and harder to breathe.
Wishin’, longin’, and prayin’ for you to still be here.
I hope you’re at peace,
I hope and I’ll hope again that it’s true.
And just so ya know,
I’ll never ever forget about you.
I hope that is true too,
Because I never would have ever thought
that god could take you.
